Everything you need to know about cosmetic surgery procedures.

I've been everywhere says Johnny Cash - me too!

My wife spends a lot of time on the road with me and sometimes this can take a toll on even the best of skincare regimes. She is meticulous at home with her skin; it's like me brushing my teeth and combing my hair. Why is it that we are less incline to spend time when we are away from home? Is it a lack of time or is it just a lack of will? I think it's a little of both. Time flies by when you are on the road for work or pleasure so our routines take a step back in importance. Being on the road whether it is for vacation or not, we also allow ourselves to work outside of our daily commitments. It's like the gym, how many of us really work our religiously when on the road like we may do at home? Again, it's almost a guilty pleasure or treat we allow ourselves when we are away, to not stick to our routines. This neglect will certainly have its effects on your skin.

An easy way to stick to it, I found, is to make sure you have your "basic equipment" with you. Allowing yourself to slip up will cause you hard work to repair the damage. I see that she makes sure to pack only the necessities, the bare essentials. I know it's tempting to take the masks and peels with you but really, if you have more stuff in your bag, it just makes it harder for you to focus on what you really need! She's taught me that it's all about simplicity.

Skincare in my travel bag; - sunscreen - day / night cream - body lotion - lip balm.  Hers has more potions and lotions but it certainly is a limited amount compared to the cupboard full at home.  I never travel with itemsI know I won't find the time to use, it will make the routine too long and the cost of baggage these days makes "bag space" a premium. I find that keeping the items in a bag that is easy to access and opens up wide is good. If you have to dig stuff out, likely you'll skip a step if you're in a hurry or tired. No matter what you are doing when you are away from home, don't let your skin be the victim of your travels. Keep it in shape and it will thank you for it by giving you a healthy, youthful glow. Enjoy your travels!
